It is my pleasure to open call for bills of the July 2017 Clark. Eventually, the clark can be viewed in real time here: www.talossa.ca/files/cosa_vote_result.php?cosa=50&clark=5 (for the votes) and here: www.talossa.ca/files/clark.php?cosa=50&clark=5 (for the bills ) It is NOT too late to submit bills, of course, as you have OFFICIALLY until the morning of the 30st of this month, provided your bills have been in the Hopper before end of business day the 15th, of course. I will make the Clark on June 1st's morning and bills submitted up to a few hours before that will probably also be taken. PLEASE note that in order to support a bill, you need to: 1 ) Be a Senator, the Secretary of State or the King or 2 ) Have been nominated as a Cosa Member for the upcoming Clark BEFORE the 15th, To vote on the Clark, you will once again have 2 options: 1 ) You will be able to vote in the Clark thread (which will be created later on the 1st of July), as usual. I will enter your votes in the DB. 2 ) You will be able to vote directly in the database, using your usernumber and DB password (which you can retrieve at: www.talossa.ca/files/login.php using the PSC of the election) or by login via Facebook (which retrieve manual activation on my part). I'd like to Clark, under the provisions of OrgLaw IX.4 ("At his discretion, the Prime Minister shall have the right to withdraw any legislative proposal from “The Hopper”, and instruct the Secretary of State to treat it as a properly submitted bill"), the following Resolution of the Senate:
The 50th Cosa Senatorial Awards of Honour Resolution
I hope the DB has a flag for Senate-only bills, otherwise we'll just vote on it as an extra-Clark bill. It still needs to be filed as 50RS01 though.

No problem, I guess the Mençei will simply conduct the vote separately in the Senate voting thread.

Really, when the Seneschál is just getting ready to implement it? You say that like I ought to have known somehow. If that is indeed the case, the government has not reported any developments regarding Telecomuna since the Seneschal's response to Sen. Grischun's terp almost 3 months ago (before this bill was hoppered). If indeed it is true that the Seneschal is about ready to implement Telecomuna, it's unclear why that would be a reason not to Clark this bill, which repeals the law stating that the Chancery is required to implement Telecomuna. And the Chancery has plenty on its plate already. And in any event, even if it is true that the implementation of Telecomuna is imminent, and we put aside the question of where the legal responsibility for implementing Telecomuna lies, the other reasons for this bill as stated in its whereas clauses remain. Specifically, the level of activity on Witt is still much lower than it was when Telecomuna was originally proposed, and I do not believe that it would be in the country's best interest to divide our strength.

Just tell the truth, Cresti. Your mate John owns and runs Witt; and because he agrees with you politically, you prefer he runs our forums than our democratic government. The whole hidden agenda of Talossan monarchism is people who are personal friends of, or political allies of, the modern King like having him around because he means they (almost) always get the upper hand. But if QUEEN MIESTRÂ were running things, the RUMP would be in favour of cutting all the powers out of the Royal Household lickety-split.

This declaration has no place in an official call for bill thread.
