Right Honourable Minister of Stuff,
One of the problems we have, which became a saga ages ago, is the mess over our websites. I believe this business falls into your Ministry's purview.
What action has been taken so far and what plans are in place in regard to concluding all business relating to our websites? This query relates to
a) Completing the transfer of our main website and b) implementing the new Telecomuna System
Kind regards,
Éovart Grischun, Opposition party, RUMP.

Esteemed Senator, thank you for your questions. With regards to Telecommuna, this will be handled by the Prime Ministry. I would advise you to re-direct this question to the Seneschal. With regards to the plans concerning the website I would direct you to the MinStuff working plan, but I would add that most content of kot.net has been transferred to Talossa.com already by my predecessors and most of the remaining content is so severely outdated that I'm not sure its worth copy pasting. Still, whenever I'm updating a page on Talossa.com I also have a look at kot.net to see if there is any relevant information there. What matters most is how we want the new website to look. What will happen to Kot.net after the transfer is complete has not been decided yet. This is also a matter that will come up in discussions with His Majesty regarding the webhosting, but I promise that I will let the Ziu know in advance of any major decision about Kingdomoftalossa.net. With regards to the current status of these plans, the following pages on talossa.com have been updated this term or were confirmed to be fully updated at the start of the term: National government; Judiciary; Ziu; Cosa; Senate; Prime minister; Distain; MinCult; MinFin; MinInt; MinJustice; MinSTUFF; Political Parties; Cézembre Work has also been done on the following pages: Cabinet ministries; MinFor; Ataturk The following pages have been deleted: Chief of Staff; history of seneschals Links to two pdfs have been added to the site: history of seneschals (formerly a page, now archived as pdf) and history of ataturk (link was broken) Four regional offices have been opened, but discussion is still ongoing. Discussion is also still ongoing (although very slowly without much progress) with His Majesty about the webhosting. The Scribe has been given access to the site in order to be able to update the pages about laws, orglaw and lexhatx. I hope this answers your question. If not, I'm obviously available for any follow-up questions.

Right Honourable Minister,
Thank you for your swift response. I shall re-direct my question regarding Telecommuna to the Prime Ministry forthwith.
I understand the website transfer is well under way, and, indeed, for all points and purposes is a "final" product. I applaud the hard work of the individuals involved with the process so far.
May I further ask, which site is the one that pay-per-click adverts, in particular, but not limited to, Google Adwords, for example, are pointing paid-for web traffic to?

Esteemed Senator,
I must admit your question confused me a bit, maybe I misunderstood it? I'm not aware of the government currently paying for any advertising towards either site.

Right Honourable Minister da Dhi, My utmost apologies! I had completely missed your last reply. Google AdWords, at least used to be, running for the domain www.kingdomoftalossa.net directing traffic on a cost per click basis. I believe, the King, meets this cost if the adverts are still running. My query (and point) is; is the King personally paying for AdWords while the websites are half up and half down?

Esteemed Senator, If he is, I am not aware of this. I would certainly advise against anyone paying for advertising that directs to www.kingdomoftalossa.net, as the site is severely outdated. I will ask His Majesty. However, there is a good chance we will not have an answer before His Majesty returns from Europe.

Right Honourable Minister,
I think you're right in thinking we will have to wait for the King's return to get further info directly from him.
As you say, the site is severely outdated. Let's hope the Crown hasn't been too fiscally liberal here.
Many thanks for taking the time to look into my queries.
Kind regards,
Senator Éovart Grischun.

Esteemed Senator,
I owe you and the other members of the Ziu an apology, because I have actually asked His Majesty about this issue and received a response last week, but then completely forgot to inform the Ziu about this. I only remembered today that I should have done this, so I'm sorry for the delay. Anyway, according to His Majesty he has paid for google adwords in the past, but hasn't "seen any charges" the "last year or two", leading him to conclude that he is not currently paying for google adwords. So unless someone else is paying for them (which the Ministry would advise against, as I said earlier), there shouldn't be any google adwords directing people towards Kingdomoftalossa.net

Right Honourable Minister,
Thanks for taking time to update us on this during the recess (although, I suppose Ministers and Senators don't really fully stop working during recess). Also, the lapse in time is too small to worry about. No harm, no foul.
This clears up the Terp nicely. My concern was that funds were being spent unnoticed on an old ad campaign that someone maybe forgot to 'switch off' - but, seems someone at sometime did turn it off.
Thanks again.
