49RZ4 - Having reviewed the proposed budget, I don't find anything necessarily disagreeable. Given how early on we are in this government, it is expected that there is a high level of activity. I may have my reservations about how much of this activity will carry through the next few months, like most Talossan governments, but that isn't a reason to oppose this bill. On the other hand, I took a look back at the votes of opposition parties on the last budget bill which was proposed by a FreeDem government, and found that the overwhelming majority of the RUMP voted against the budget bill. Despite this, I continue to disagree with the idea that opposition parties should vote against something just because they are an opposition party. Unlike my colleagues both here in the Senäts and the Cosa, and unlike the RUMP MCs of the 48th Cosa, I'm judging this bill based primarily on merits, and my desire to see everyone have a fair chance. For these reasons, I vote Për.
49RZ5 - In addition to my concerns over the language, which still should be changed by the Scribery pursuant to the statutes that allow him to, I could not vote in favor of this bill due to the phrase "within the limits of law". There are no, nor should there be any limits on freedom of speech or voicing critical opinions regarding public officials. If this bill did not contain such a phrase, I would vote in favor of it, as I too strongly condemn the actions of the Turkish President which prompted this bill's introduction. Seeing as it does contain such a phrase, however, I vote Contrâ.
49RZ6 - I've expressed my opinions on limiting the King's ability to choose the Cunstavál of his choice before, so I feel no need to go over my opinion again. That being said, I do appreciate that this proposed amendment at least gives the King a list of individuals rather than requires him to choose whomever the province tells him too. The concepts proposed in this amendment are certainly worthy of being looked at by the RCOR. Until that time, I vote Contrâ.
49RZ7 - Assuming there is one, I hope more people will take part in the turnout prediction contest in the next election! I vote Për.
49RZ8 - I think there are some MZs who are obsessed with maps or something, because it seems like we vote on changing our catchment areas all the time. Once again, I vote Për.
