Section 3. Neither a reigning King nor his Consort, nor a Regent during his regency, nor the Secretary of State, nor the Seneschal shall be a Justice of the Uppermost Cort or a judge in any inferior court that the Ziu may create. Nor shall any Senator or Member of the Cosa be a Justice of the Uppermost Cort. Do we have two different Organic-law text? Mximo Your version is outdated. 47RZ39 updated the Cort, making it a panel of five justices, eliminating the Magistracy, and allowed justices to sit in the Cosa. For your ease of reference, the version on the Wiki (http://wiki.talossa.com) is the only official version of the Organic Law and El Lexhatx.

Their is no democracy where a Justice can also sit in the House... Mximo That (perhaps) is a little extreme - but I can give my word that I, personally, shall never take part in any political action whilst I am a Justice... so you have at least one neutral member of the Judiciary.

Extreme? Give my an example from a Democratic country where a Supreme cort justice can sit in the House of legislation? And Mr Tamoran I think you're the most respectable and independant Chief justice we can have. So this website : kingdomoftalossa.net/index.cgi is not good anymore ... Well sorry I was not aware of this. Mximo

Extreme? Give my an example from a Democratic country where a Supreme cort justice can sit in the House of legislation? That's mostly caused by a lack of enough active citizens to have complete separation of powers.

That's correct, the 12 Lords of Appeal in Ordinary or Law Lords whom were full-time judges that carried out the judicial work of the House of Lords, which functioned as a court of first instance for the trials of peers, for impeachment cases and as a court of last resort within the United Kingdom until the creation of the Supreme Court in 2009.
