That's what I mean. We only have a couple of laws outside of that one, in which I consolidated all prior M-M law. Why not act now while it's easy and make it our legal code? It's even already called the "Body of Law," so we wouldn't even have to change the name.

I do like the idea of a provincial law code. Hopefully we can pass the law code and the edits to the Constitution by the end of this term, however I will wait for a while before working on it to see how things work out with Vuode.
PS I will wait also because I am about to become very busy (with exams and whatnot), and it will be all I can do to keep up with my STUFF duties.

If I may quickly intrude with apologies of the highest order...
Please, do not stall nor hold up any proceedings of this chamber on account of what may or may not happen in regards to the Province of Vuode.

Hm. This is an interesting problem. How do you design a governing apparatus that makes laws for two provinces, allows for their individual interests to be considered, and yet also doesn't allow one to dominate the other... all while allowing for a very small number of people? There are some ways to do it, I think.

Please, do not stall nor hold up any proceedings of this chamber on account of what may or may not happen in regards to the Province of Vuode. What happens with Vuode is highly relevant to our proceedings. I don't want to make an MM law code if it is decided that MM and Vuode will create a unified code. Also, Amendments take a long time, so I will try to make my edits to the MM constitution at the same time we allow for a unified assembly

I rise to propose that we put aside the creation of a MM law code until it is decided what to do with the proposal of Senator Grischun. Incidentally, I propose that we grant Senator Grischun standing in the Assembly to comment on matters concering a possible Confederation between MM and VD, so that we can together come up with a solution.

Both motions are carried, and Senator Grischun shall be recognized by this chamber until the end of this convocation.

Paging Eðo Grischun just to make sure that he knows of the motion carried above! S:reu Senator, you’re hereby recognised as having standing in our august Assembly. Feel free to comment on matters of the MM-VD Confederation. May our collaboration be prosperously successful! I will get into this in depth once I’ve finished my written exams (which shall be tomorrow), and after shaking it all off with a few glasses of wine, and by preparing Kimchi at a friend’s house after my last written exam. But do feel free to begin discussions on how to tackle this excitingly new legislative ground.

I would like to make a motion to formally declare that kimchi is delicious.
