You can view them here: www.talossa.ca/files/election_result.phpParty | Votes | Actual Seats | Rounded Down | Rounded |
---|
FREEDEM | 39 | 66.10 | 66 | 66 | MRPT | 22 | 37.29 | 37 | 37 | PRESENT - Does not count | 7 | | | | PROG | 2 | 3.39 | 3 | 3 | REP | 2 | 3.39 | 3 | 3 | RUMP | 36 | 61.02 | 61 | 61 | TNC | 17 | 28.81 | 28 | 29 | Total1 | 118 + 7 = 125 | 200.00 | 198 + 2 | 199 + 1 |
---|
This means, as suggested below, that we will use the Roudned Method, and a 4th seat will be randomly assigned to either the PROG or the REP party.

This was my 9th Election as SoS...
This means that if I am still SoS for the next election (which I hope to be), I will have run 20% of all of the elections (10 out of 50), still 3 short of JJ, who ran 13 elections.
But since King Ben ran 8 elections, it means I finally surpassed him for the #2 spot (he was SoS for the first 5 Cosa, the 13th, the 34th and the 35th.

Congratulations to the FreeDems and TNC on their gains. Especially impressive for the TNC to come out of nowhere and win that many votes in their first election.

The RUMP congratulates all of the parties and the Kingdom of Talossa for the strongly contested election. This was a hard-fought campaign during turbulent times, and we are glad to be able once again to participate in the politics of our wonderful little country. I would like to particularly congratulate the FDT for their strong showing, as well as the TNC for once again demonstrating that new parties will always have a lot to offer Talossa.
The RUMP stands ready to work with other legislators and all the citizens of Talossa to make our country a more active and better place.

Can I just make a formal request that the King proclaim 48RZ14 explicitly and formally, as soon as possible? You know, as a gesture of trust?
I don't know what's in the full Cort decision on the Proclamation Crisis suit, but my reading of the preliminary decision is that the King can "refuse to proclaim" any amendment and thus invalidate it - and there is no limit in how far backwards in time this power goes. So a formal proclamation of 48RZ14 would put this whole issue to rest.

(No offence intended to the TNC; any party which only stands in 1 election is "Other" in my graphs. You'll be on there next election if you stand again!)

It seems like the SoS will have to do a coin toss or something like that to assign the 200th seat to either the Progressives or the Republicans.

The list of citizens who might have lost their citizenship is now listed here:http://www.talossa.ca/files/notvoted.php The list is only valid TODAY, since any new citizens added from now until the next election will appear in the list. However, this list includes citizens which haven't voted since the Database has resumed data, which is the 45th Cosa (I only came back in the 46th, but I entered manually the data of the 45th). Once I mark them as inactive, we will no longer have any citizens who never voted according to the DB and I will stop marking them as Possibly losing their citizenship. This Cosa, the list contains 65 Citizens, but I BEG the King not to Pardon them.I am beggin you on my knees King John, DO NOT ISSUE A BLANKET PARDON FOR NON VOTERS. PLEASE.Here is why: We have citizens like Andreas Lorentz, who didn't vote since the 45th Cosa. A few people have tried to contact him, and he has fell under the radar. We have citiznes like Fritz, who didn't vote since at least the 44th Cosa. As ANYONE Heard from him since 2012??? Do we REALLY want to keep them in our books? These are 65 citizens, many of which should have been removed from our books a few Cosas ago, but the blankey pardon kept them there, gave a false sense of how many citizens were active, and increased the risk of problems when sending emails to all active citizens. # | Name | Province | Last Cosa Voted | Strikes | Partial Email |

There is no longer any royal pardon for non-voting. However, I think only people who have been citizens for at least two years and have not voted during that time should lose their citizenship. I think your list includes some people it shouldn't, and does not include some people it should. By my reckoning, the people who lose their citizenship should be those who 1) last voted in the 46th Cosa election or earlier, or 2) have never voted and have a citizen number lower than 435. We have citiznes like Fritz, who didn't vote since at least the 44th Cosa. As ANYONE Heard from him since 2012??? I talked to Fritz yesterday. Unfortunately, he didn't remember his Witt login and didn't have time to figure out how to vote.

I knew I was missing something. You are 100% right, the most recent citizens who simply didn't vote yet are not losing their citizenship. Thanks for reminding me! He can easily reaply for citizenship, and fill in the census once it is sent.

He can easily reaply for citizenship, and fill in the census once it is sent. True, and hopefully he will. But I kind of doubt it. By my count there are 63 who will lose their citizenship. I had 66 on my original list, but 3 of those voted (Civaßì, Sever, and Vasile).

I see that S:reu Liu has alredy been struck off the Citizenship Roll. That's too bad.
