The Capitán of our province has expressed his intention to resign. The Constitution of Fiôvâ 4.2 states:

Elections for a new Capitán shall be held in the month of May. If the office becomes vacant between June 1 and February 1, then an election for a new Capitán shall be held as soon as possible after such a vacancy arises.

Therefore, as Túischac'h of the General Assembly and thus acting SoS, I am declaring nominations open for Capitán for the remainder of the 2015/16 term now. You have 7 days. Thanks.

I have a few things in mind such as some cultural activities that I would like to promote in our Province...

The Capitán has full executive powers in Fiôvă (Constitution 4.1) except those s/he delegates to Provincial Ministers (Constitution 6). You may name a Deputy Capitán (Constitution 13). You have the power to issue Executive Orders (Constitution 9), which have the force of law unless overruled by the General Assembly.
