This is all suggestive but drawing from my knowledge of linguistics, if talossan was actually habitually spoken by a population, a bulk of it's phonotactics would almost immediately shift to favour the "laziness of the mouth" phenomenon. Just a thought, I don't mean to disrespect established rules

This accounts for the facts that -ar, -al, -an, and -à all pluralise as -aes or -ais, most final Ls are silent or vocalised, intervocalic D has a lenited pronunciation, and Talossan has a lot of contractions.

Let me know if you have any questions as you read it. If I make tomorrow's show, maybe we could spend a few minutes talking about your initial reactions to the book! As I mentioned previously, there are some important changes to be aware of that will be included in the next edition of the book. In particular, you should check out the revised stress rule in the 2014 Arestada available at cuglang.com/?page_id=34. It's much simpler, I think, than the one in the 2nd Edition.

I'll surely ask when I have questions about the book

Have you thought about a Talossan Duolingo course? I think that would be awesome, but I do not know what the rules are more than what is published in incubator.duolingo.com/apply, but as someone who learns other languages and constructed languages that I think it would be a good option, especially since it would be a source of exposure to people who would otherwise not always have the chance to hear about Talossa, so I decided to publish it here, and I'm really sorry, I'm reviving this thread, but it's the only place where a non-Talossan can post and I think it would be nice if you had a friendly place where visitors can post. But that's beside the point. I hope to learn Talossan in Duolingo soon!

It would definitely be an incredible idea but unfortunately I don't think we have enough resources or interested people to make such a thing come into fruition. Hopefully someday but for now I would encourage everyone to stick around and wait for Sir Cresti and the Min.Cult.'s monthly doses of Ladintsch
