I presented this idea on the Witt Facebook page, and the response was positive, so I decided to go ahead and present it to the entire Kingdom. Basically, I propose the creation of a Talossan journal devoted to publishing the creative output of our citizens. Stories, poems, essays, artwork, photos, whatever. If you're sitting on anything you'd like to share, you can send it to me, and I'll publish it. I've enlisted Vitxalmour Conductour to assist me in creating it. (He's more computer saavy than i am.) Movie and book reviews, whatever, all submissions will be considered. Talossa is chock full of talented, creative people, and I'd like to see what y'all come up with. (I might even be able to talk Iusti into letting me run a "teaser" of his forthcoming El Hobbit.) The only thing is...what should we call such a journal? Suggestions, please. I hope to make this thing quarterly.

Does it have to be in Talossan? I have six plays I've written that I could contribute, but I'd also hope that creative license remained with the creator?

Iason tells me he had written quite a long response to your questions, and other questions he apparently asked himself, but his unfortunate technological curse caused it to vanish. He has asked me to respond while he bemoans the electronic age he sadly finds himself trapped in.
There are no official language restrictions. We would like to give some preference toward el Glheþ and toward otherwise Talossa-related content, but would not focus explicitly upon such material. While we would welcome submissions in any language, there would likely be a slight editorial lean towards languages familiar to the editors. For example, as we can both read English, English submissions would likely find their way to print more rapidly. The sparse publication schedule Iason has settled on should allow us time to consider material in other languages as well, particularly if Iason decides to take on additional personnel. (For the record, the current editorial staff get by fairly well in English, and can muddle through el Glheþ, German, Esperanto and Spanish. Anything else would require the unreliable help of translation software (though would be published in the original submission language) or the assistance of an additional reader.) Visual arts, of course, are much simpler in this regard.
Iason and his journal, whatever it shall be called, will make no claims of ownership or copyright beyond the right to print the material submitted in the journal itself. Material would only be accepted from the originator or originators of said material, to the best of our determination. Our editorial function would merely consist of selection and assembly of content, we would not make any editorial changes to the content. Longer written works may, likely with consent of the submitter, be released serially.

Submissions can now be sent to ElAnticatx@gmail.com. The current plan is to publish the first issue after we've received what we feel are enough submissions to fill an issue; thereafter, future editions will (hopefully) be released quarterly. I am currently discussing with my editorial staff the possibility of compiling the issues annually into an honest to god made of paper digest that will be sent out for a small fee. But first, we need material to get this thing started. (Hey, I dream big.)

Over a month since I announced this, and have recieved only two submissions (from the same contributor!) (both excellent.) C'mon, folks! At this rate, we're going to have to publish annually... (I'm sure no one wants a Talossan literary/arts magazine, something that will represent the nation, to consist mainly of mine and V. Conductours feeble creative efforts...)

My apologies. I never saw the follow-up post indicating where to send submissions. I will put together a submission and send it off to you.
