We JOHN by the Grace of God King of Talossa and of all its Realms and Regions, King of Cézembre, Sovereign Lord and Protector of Pengöpäts and the New Falklands, Defender of the Faith, Leader of the Armed Forces, Viceroy of Hoxha and Vicar of Atatürk, do hereby appoint our well-beloved Dr Txec Róibeard dal Nordselva to serve as Seneschal of the Kingdom of Talossa, his term in office to begin immediately. We are confident of Dr Nordselva's loyalty to the nation, and of his ability both to fulfill the obligations intendant upon Our First Minister and to command the confidence of the 45th Cosa. We extend our thanks to Dr Nordselva for agreeing to serve Our Kingdom in this new capacity, and also to the leaders of the Parties represented in the 45th Cosa for their assistance in Our deliberations regarding this appointment. Done under Our hand Royal at the city of Denver in Colorado, this 19th day of April being the Feast of St Ælfheah Archbishop of Canterbury (and the 1001st anniversary of his repose) in the year of salvation 2013, of the independence of Talossa the 33rd, and of Our reign the seventh. — John Regeu

Mximo Carbonèl Leader LPR What makes the IND not independent, because they formed a coalition? Any party is free to form a coalition with any other party.

In absolute fairness to the Independents, the majority of their active members were quite willing to consider other coalition options; only one was not, and that person's seats tipped the balance.

Mximo Carbonèl Leader LPR What makes the IND not independent, because they formed a coalition? Any party is free to form a coalition with any other party. Exactly. The way it works is that the Independents this way had a way of making the RUMP party agree to supporting one or more core issues that an IND candidate champions (but not the RUMP, if there hadn't been such issues running as an Independent would have been meaningless). That's how coalitions or supporting a minority government works. The only way your accusation could be true is if an Independent would have said, without any sort of negotiation of terms, "I'll support that government but no other, and I don't want anything in return".

We absolutely (the RUMP) did make some concessions to form this coalition. In any event, my gratitude to His Majesty on my appointment. I promise to do my best to lead the government and represent Talossa.
