Swearing in of the Senechal - TNP

Azul,

Literally fresh off, we have the shortest episode of the TNP. Coming in at just over four minutes, it focuses only on election wrap up.

The best part, however, is everyone now has the ability to hear the official swearing in of our new Senechal Iusti Canun by our beloved King John.

It was an honour to be granted this privilege and although the call was very short (this call cost $$$) I cannot thank the Senechal nor the King enough for letting both myself and the TNP be part of this. The TNP takes this moment to not steal the Thunder of the swearing in but wants to share it with all of Talossa.

Again, congratulations. May you rest safely on your RUMP and your ministers never leave you. ;) What awesomeness to hear the King and the new Seneschal. Which such conviction as he recited the oath!

Wow! As His Majesty said, a historic occasion recorded for posterity! The telephone connection was a little staticky, but the pronunciation of the oath sounded good.

Work obligations cropped up and suddenly kept me from being in the barstool adjacent to the King, as planned, for this occasion, and so I, too, am happy to be able to hear what I missed.

(And no, I don't have your copy of The Loom of Language, Jermäxh. I was told, though, that Iustì was able to fulfill the Organic obligation to have one by having his hand on the computer monitor as it displayed an eBook.)

I bought and sold mine already ... next time (yes you heard that right) I will just go borrow the book from the library :) It is a good read but since you can read it online it is not so much having it in my library that is important

I've got a copy of the excellent 1960 edition in Portuguese, but I used to have an abridged 1944 special pocketbook edition for American soldiers.
